Abstract:

Criticism is judging the merits and demerits of something and showing its weaknesses and strengths. Textbook evaluation, as a small step in learning and teaching process, can help teachers and learners find books that suit their needs and likes. In the present article, the book ‘ EDUCATIONAL Psychology’ (the 13th global edition) authored by Anita Woolfolk (2016) is reviewed and evaluated. This is a qualitative evaluation based on the writer’ s experience in teaching this source in postgraduate classes for several years. To do so, the formal characteristics and the content of the book and the degree of its success in fulfilling the objectives, which are mentioned in the introduction of the book, are examined. Although this book, like any other book, is not flawless, it can surely be recommended to those who are interested in the learning-teaching process. It is hoped that, via this article, this book would be read and used by more people in the scientific community of Iran.

Abstract:

Background: One of the medical team's responsibilities is to teach the methods of rescue and aid necessary for casualties who have been injured in disasters. They must be taken away of the place of disaster, transferred, categorized and cured. Methods: Delphi technique was used in this research. Firstly, a number of questions were framed and sent to a number of experts of different majors. They were asked to present their recommendation with regard to triage for casualties. Eventually, 18 people replied the questions. Results: The results of the study shows that the members of triage team were not knowledgeable enough in three EDUCATIONAL subjects of chemical casualties including: the recognition of chemical poisoning symptoms, the necessity to teach caring and curing methods while dealing with special factors that cause symptoms and disorders in different parts of the body, and the control of stress and anxiety of casualties in incidents.80% of the members agreed with the first part. Their recommendations and comments were collected. For the second subject, 90% believe that instructions should be developed for care and treatment. In third subject, 70% of the participants believed the use of chemical weapons and explosives is probable in incidents. Conclusion: Awareness of EDUCATIONAL needs in relation with incidents and triage has considerable importance; in most cases it could rescue casualties. Therefore, paying attention to special EDUCATIONAL issues and recognizing the weaknesses of the EDUCATIONAL programs would provide appropriate STRATEGIES in order to enhance triage.

Abstract:

This paper aims at investigating the existential philosophy of God’s trial and its role as an EDUCATIONAL strategy in the verses of the Quran. To achieve our goal, anthropology and ontology as well as their conceptual relation must be studied in Quran to realize the definition of education and its principles based on content analysis and deduction; and consequently, to apply the criteria of achieving this goal as EDUCATIONAL STRATEGIES. In accordance with this analysis, human and God have been related to each other by a divine relationship. God has created human and determined a goal for him to be fulfilled through this divine relationship, i.e. based on the knowledge he acquired from God’s divinity and his servitude which is the same as education, and dos and don’ts falling under the category of legislative duty and guidance. Based on this duty and guidance, human’s hidden talents will be actualized and they will be rewarded or punished accordingly. The God’s trial is a certain, definite and universal tradition having degrees. The hidden and potential talents are not the criteria for qualification and competency but these talents must be actualized by the God’s trial. By this description, the aim and philosophy of the God’s trial is bringing human to the esteem of God i.e. human servitude and slavery based on EDUCATIONAL strategy.

Abstract:

The present research studied the (causal, contextual, and intervening) conditions, STRATEGIES, and consequences of violence in the lives of child wives in Chabahar city, conducted with a qualitative methodology based on grounded theory. For this purpose, in-depth semi-structured interviews were conducted with 28 child-married girls in Chabahar city who were selected through theoretical sampling and snowball method. The analysis of the data in the framework of the three-level open, axial and selective coding system showed that gendered inequality and discrimination, women's inferiority, men's value, the culture of silence and the culture of violence play a role in the experience of child-wives in terms of violence (causal conditions), which leads to a type of increased, double violence for them (core category); violence that operates within the framework of the family institution, the main mechanism of which are previous traditions and rules, and the perpetrators of which are men and women who were themselves the victims of the same traditions and rules that they have, now, internalized and used again against their daughters. This increased violence happens in a context where patriarchy is widespread (contextual conditions) and due to the generalized self-deprecation among child wives (intervening conditions), they may attempt to escape, get separated, threaten, and commit suicide (STRATEGIES), and these actions have consequences such as symbolic, physical, and sexual violence and even social isolation (consequences).

Abstract:

The current research was conducted with the aim of identifying the employment competencies of EDUCATIONAL graduates from the perspective of view of employers. This research was applied in terms of purpose and was among the qualitative researches of Grounded Theory type. The participants of this research included 24 employers in the field of EDUCATIONAL (interviewers for the Education recruitment exam, directors of non-state EDUCATIONAL institutes, directors and recruitment officers of non-state schools, directors of kindergartens and preschools) in Birjand city. Data were collected using semi-structured interview and analyzed by Strauss and Corbin method and using MAXQDA-2020 software. In order to validate the research, two methods of member control and peer review or feedback were used. Consecutive review and comparison of data resulted in the extraction of 28 categories and 6 themes. Data analysis led to the formation of a sub-theory. The model shows that the focal variable is the process of education and teaching skills. The focal variable, under the influence of contextual and intermediate conditions, leads to the formation of the STRATEGIES of "being a lifelong learner", "research skills", "planning skills", "classroom skills and classroom management", "purposefulness" and "problem solving skills". became Finally, "increasing employability" was the consequence of this process.

Abstract:

The aim of this study was to explore the future of EDUCATIONAL sport in Iran to predict the future of EDUCATIONAL sport and to formulate STRATEGIES for the year 2035. To predict, the scenario-based approach based on an intuitive logic approach was applied and to design the scenarios, the strategy of trends and uncertainty analysis as well as a six-step integrated scenario planning were used. First, the project boundary was specified. Then, the main factors of development and the blind spots were identified with a 360-degree feedback. Subsequently, two key uncertainties were formulated as the basis to design the scenario. Then, a complete definition for the four possible scenarios was provided in detail. In the fifth step, a general strategy based on the scenarios was presented. Finally, in the last step the STRATEGIES were monitored and controlled. The participants of this study were 44 internal and external stakeholders of Iranian EDUCATIONAL sport selected by a purposeful sampling. The data were collected through interviews and open-ended questionnaires. According to the results, the analysis of the 30 key factors ultimately lead to the production of two key uncertainties; "networking among key actors" and "family and community synergy", which were the basis of Iran's four major EDUCATIONAL sporting scenarios. As a result, it is suggested that, in order to develop the Iranian EDUCATIONAL sport, networking and synergy of institutions with the focus on Ministry of Sport and Youth be done.
